During setting up, the printer can customize paper sizes and types. The paper settings are entered by the user into the main page for setting up. The following sections explain how to change the settings for specific paper types or sizes:

o Create a custom paper width or use the manufacturer’s setup page. Create a custom height using your printer driver.o If the custom paper’s height exceeds 432 millimeters (17in) then utilize the back output tray instead of the standard tray. In the Print dialog box, select „Fit to” and then move the tray to exactly the location you would like your custom papers to be printed.

To alter the width of your customized paper to alter the width of your custom paper, click the Printing Setup tab. Select „stretch” to stretch the page before printing. Otherwise, the current size will be used. To change the size, choose „set new size” in the pull-down menu.

To print black or white documents, change the size of the paper in the Printing Setup to white or black. Then, select „print.” The new size will be printed on your document page. You can change the color by selecting the desired color and then making it available in the drop-down menu.

If the paper’s length exceeds 430 millimeters (17 inches) then set the custom size as big as possible. If you are using a non-printer driver be sure to check the height of the tray and then select „auto tray height” in the menu that you can pull down. The driver for printing will calculate the correct height automatically based upon the display height. If this option is not available, the maximum tray depth will be utilized.

o To increase the paper tray depth, select „set depth to default.” This option is only accessible to the tray that is not a printer. Once you have chosen the depth that you wish to use, the maximum depth will be applied. It is not necessary to increase the depth of your document beyond 297 mm if it is printed on thicker paper , such as heavy or bond paper.
